PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR – FULL TIME POSITION

Perfect Earth is a fast growing environmental, erosion & sediment control, soil improvement, landscaping and re-vegetation company based on the Sunshine Coast; enjoying strong and sustained growth in a challenging market.  We are now currently recruiting for an experienced and suitably qualified Project Administrator to join the steady team at our Kunda Park Office.

The Project Administrator is a critical position within our company, and will be responsible for providing support to the General Manager and Project Managers on projects including but not limited to project and contract reviews; planning and coordination of projects regarding resourcing and product purchases and allocation; preparation and development of project paperwork and documentation; establishment of project cost/tracking registers; Review and QA of field paperwork and documentation; Accounts processes MYOB Premier; Invoice preparation and claims submission and supporting documentation;  as well as regular communication, building relationships and providing support to Clients and the team.

We are looking for a motivated, energetic, determined, reliable, honest and hardworking individual who has a proven track record in project and contract administration within the landscaping, construction, resource and/or infrastructure sector.  A proven ability to work under pressure, multi tasking, together with the capacity to plan, prioritize, and coordinate workloads in order to meet project deadlines, achieve productivity and efficiency outcomes is fundamental. Strong communication (written and verbal), together with high level of analytical skills is paramount.

ESSENTIAL

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Current Police History Record
  • Experience in project/construction and contract administration (5 Years)
  • Experience on commercial, building, engineering and construction type projects preferably within a landscaping setting
  • Invoice and Purchasing experience using systems such as MYOB Premier
  • Computer literacy is essential, particularly experience with MS office programs, MYOB Premier and Benchmark Estimating Software or equivalent estimating software packages
  • Proven demonstration of excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, coordination skills, prioritisation and organisation skills, project management and excellent communication and business skills

ADVANTAGEOUS

  • Experience in either Horticulture/Revegetation/Landscaping/ Project Management
  • Qualification in business/administration and contracts
  • Justice of the Peace signatory qualification

The Leading Hand (Landscape Maintenance) is a critical position within our company, and will be responsible for delivery of landscape establishment and maintenance on small to major projects within Queensland including but not limited to reporting, small engine maintenance, mowing, brush cutting, herbicide application, fertilizer application, pruning, watering regimes and management.

Providing assistance to the Project Administrator for Invoice preparation, claims submission and supporting documentation;  as well as regular communication, building relationships and providing support to Clients and the team.

  • Class C Driver licence as a minimum
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Leading Hand Role
  • Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control (ACDC) Commercial licence
  • White/ Blue card
  • Experience in either Horticulture/Revegetation/Landscaping maintenance
  • Experience on commercial, building, engineering and construction type projects preferably within a landscaping setting
  • Computer literacy is essential, particularly experience with MS office programs
  • Proven demonstration of excellent attention to detail, coordination skills, prioritisation and organisation skills, project management and excellent communication

ADVANTAGEOUS

  • Clean HR Truck Licence held for a minimum of 2 years
  • A Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) Certificate – Level 2

ESSENTIAL

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Current Police History Record and DTMR Transport Record or able to obtain
  • Experience in operating plant, equipment and machinery
  • Experience on commercial, building, engineering and construction type projects
  • Experience and/or knowledge in servicing and maintenance of machinery

You must have all of the following licenses/certification:

  • Pre-Employment Medial
  • Construction Card
  • Open Driver’s License
  • Valid and Clean Queensland HR/HC Truck License as a minimum
  • Forklift, Excavator and Posi Track Tickets

ADVANTAGEOUS
