LANDSCAPE SUPERVISOR(S) – Full Time Position

We are a growing civil landscaping and vegetation management company with our Head Office based on the Sunshine Coast.

An opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified and experienced Supervisor(s) that will be based within Queensland – South East Queensland/Greater Brisbane Area and whom are energetic, determined, and hardworking – working alongside their team, used to working within a diverse environment and who is an exceptional leader and motivator.  You must also be happy and flexible as you will be required to work primarily within the South East Queensland/Greater Brisbane Area, however occasionally regionally.

This role is very physical and demanding, requiring a high degree of quality control, accuracy and reporting. You will report to the Construction Manager and will be responsible for leading and managing civil landscaping teams and ensuring safety, quality and training is maintained as paramount during all construction activities and that projects are executed efficiently, therefore you must possess the ability to work unsupervised at various locations.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Supervisory Role
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in either Horticulture/Revegetation/Landscaping/Environmental Industry
  • Proven demonstration of excellent leadership and people management skills; also excellent communication skills
  • Mechanical minded and experience

You must have all of the following licences/certification or be willing to obtain:

  • Construction Card
  • Driver’s License & Clean MR/HR Truck Licence
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • ACDC Commercial Operators Licence (Highly regarded but not mandatory)

ESTIMATING MANAGER – Full Time Position

Perfect Earth is a fast growing environmental, erosion & sediment control, soil improvement, landscaping and re-vegetation company based on the Sunshine Coast; enjoying strong and sustained growth in a challenging market.  Due to continual growth, the need now exists for an experienced and suitably qualified Estimating Manager to join the steady team at our Kunda Park office.

The Estimating Manager is a critical position within our company, and will be responsible for preparing, managing and coordinating all aspects of tender and estimating processes, specifications and documentation. We are looking for a motivated, energetic, determined and hardworking individual who has a proven track record in tender management, estimating, contract and tender administration and business development.

A proven ability to work under pressure, multi tasking, together with the capacity to plan, prioritize, delegate and coordinate workloads in order to meet deadlines, achieve productivity and efficiency outcomes is fundamental. Strong communication (written and verbal), together with high level negotiation, analytical skills as well as advanced business development skills are also fundamental. A sound working knowledge of Project Management principles as they apply to the field together with technical engineering & construction is essential to the role. An eye for detail and accuracy with numbers are also primary!

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Experience on commercial, building, engineering and construction type projects
  • Computer literacy is essential, particularly experience with MS office programs and Benchmark Estimating Software or equivalent estimating software packages
  • Proven demonstration of excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, coordination skills, prioritisation and organisation skills, project management and excellent communication and business skills
  • Experience in project management highly desirable/advantageous

You must have all of the following licenses/certification:

  • Degree/Advanced Certificate in Horticulture / Landscape Engineering
  • Construction Card
  • Driver’s License

 LANDSCAPE LABOURER(S) – Casual Position

Perfect Earth is a fast growing environmental, erosion & sediment control, soil improvement, landscaping and re-vegetation company based on the Sunshine Coast; enjoying strong and sustained growth in a challenging market.  Due to continual growth, the need now exists for additionally skilled Landscape Labourer(s) to join the steady team.

We are looking for motivated, energetic, determined, reliable, honest and hardworking individuals who have a proven track record in undertaking landscape labouring tasks and preferably operating machinery within the landscape, construction, resource and infrastructure sector.  You must be willing to work in a labour intensive environment and be able to work unsupervised at times.

ESSENTIAL

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Current Police History Record and DTMR Transport Record or able to obtain
  • Experience and skills in undertaking labouring activities
  • Experience on commercial, building, engineering and construction type projects

You must also have all of the following licenses/certification:

  • Pre-Employment Medial
  • Construction Card
  • Open Driver’s License

ADVANTAGEOUS

  • Experience in either Horticulture/Revegetation/Landscaping
  • Experience in operating plant, equipment and machinery
  • Experience and/or knowledge in servicing and maintenance of machinery
  • Certificate in Horticulture/ACDC Commercial Operators License
  • LR, HR or MR Truck License
  • Forklift, Excavator and Posi Track Tickets
  • First Aid Certificate

An appropriate wage as per award will be provided based upon experience and qualifications.
